Life Skills (Key Stage 3)

Coming Soon! Our Life SKills programme for Key Stage 3 pupils is under development. For this new programme, we plan to utilise acting students to bring relevant scenarios to life for Key Stage 3 (11-14 year olds) including peer pressure, drugs and alcohol, anti-social behaviour and consequences of crime, budgeting, healthy eating, road, fire and water safety and mental health. The focus is on raising awareness of risk and consequences, equipping visitors to make their own choices. The programme covers the following safety themes:

  • Fire
  • Home (kitchen and living areas)
  • Water
  • In car
  • Pedestrian
  • Train
  • Bus
  • Bike
  • Online

It will also include:-

  • Sustainable choices
  • Peer pressure
  • What to do in an emergency
  • Restricted goods, drugs and alcohol
  • Consequences of crime
  • Financial awareness
  • Mental wellbeing
  • Journey planning
